Mike Betancourt, a U.S. Navy veteran who served aboard the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, transitioned to stand-up comedy in 2004, channeling the resilience and work ethic he developed in the military. Despite facing early setbacks, including audience walkouts and harsh criticism, Mike's determination to improve led to a flourishing career in comedy and acting. He has appeared in films like Traffik, Mamaboy, and Guitar Man, earning accolades such as Best Supporting Actor for Love Rules and producing the award-winning short Evelyn.
A versatile performer, Mike also lent his talents to animation voiceovers and memorable appearances at events like WrestleMania 31. While headlining comedy clubs, theaters, and private events, he continues to captivate audiences with his high-energy humor, all while prioritizing his family and their time together.
